Description

The Irish Wedding Album is a guide to how to choose the music for your wedding ceremony. With many years of singing at weddings under her belt, Sarah found that when it came to music for the wedding ceremony, many couples were unsure where to start. On the CD, all the hymns, songs and instrumental music are divided up according to the different parts of the ceremony. The album has 30 tracks and includes all the wedding classics, beautiful Irish and sacred pieces, and great popular music, all on one CD. There are many different instruments used – including organ, Irish harp, piano, violin, Irish flute and classical guitar – to give the listener a very clear idea of what their favourite wedding music will sound like with a variety of instruments.

Musicians featured on the album include Harp by Grammy award winning Dr. Janet Harbison, Pipe Organ by Bernadette Kiely, Piano by Dawn Kenny, Violin by Oonagh Keogh from The Irish Chamber Orchestra, Digital Organ by Jean O’Brien and Dr. Michael O’Brien, Irish Flute, Tin Whistle and Uilleann Pipes by Coleman O’Connor and Guitar by classical guitarist Michael O’Toole.
